About us
Floreat SLSC Nippers comprises of over 250 children participating each Sunday. We have an army of volunteers who ensure the children are safe in the ocean environment.
Through the Nipper program we introduce junior members to surf lifesaving and surf sports giving them the skills to become senior members and surf lifesavers.
Floreat offers members the chance to participate in many activities including the Sunday morning Woodside Nippers Program for the whole family. The program is fun and informative where both parents and children will learn beach skills from our experienced and enthusiastic coaches, age managers and water safety.
Additionally, Floreat SLSC is proud to run Starfish Nippers. A modified and structured nipper program for all abilities that runs alongside our club’s Age Group Nippers program and focuses on beach and water safety and awareness and promotes inclusion and diversity.
Our team contribute many hours in developing these young Nippers into the future lifesavers we need to protect our beach. In order to maintain our well-rounded success, we look to the help and support of our community.
