About Nippers & Youth at Floreat beach

Floreat Surf Life Saving Club has been helping children and teens in Perth build surf skills and water confidence for generations. Our Woodside Nippers program (ages 5–12) introduces kids to the beach through fun, structured activities, while Starfish Nippers provides an inclusive program for children with disabilities.

For teens, our Youth program (ages 13–17) develops surf safety knowledge, teamwork, and pathways to becoming a qualified lifesaver through the Surf Rescue Certificate (SRC) and Bronze Medallion.

Located on the beautiful Floreat Beach, we’re proud to be one of Perth’s most welcoming surf lifesaving clubs, helping families enjoy the ocean safely while preparing the next generation of surf lifesavers.
